  • Answer:

I had Lasik over a year ago and I love it. It's amazing to just wake up and see. I never had any problems. For a couple hours after the Lasik my eyes burned, but after that, I was 100%. I would definitely do it again! I have better than 20/20 vision.

Laser Eye Surgery can really enhance eye sight. I always contemplated getting the surgery and finally decided to get the surgery in India, It was a wonderful experience and I am extremely happy with the results. I know of 5 people including myself who have had laser eye surgery. They range from mid 20s to late 50s. All of them are please they had it done. Two of them had complications, one was quit serious and required remedial surgery, however he has 20-20 vision now. I have had one eye adjusted for reading and one for distance. ( this is only necessary if you are about 50) in general when you are young your eyes will focus for both. The actual operation is quick, but its not the most pleasant thing I have done, the thing I remember most was the smell of burning skin as they laser-ed my eyes.Final tip do not move when having the treatment.

My wife had laser eye surgey just after Christmas. She has had no problems at all and her eyesight is fantastic. It is like giving her a new lease of life. It is uncomfortable when it is done but no pain. After, the eyes were quite sore and very watery. She wore sunglasses on the way home as they are very sensitive to the light. They got very heavy a couple of hours after but she just went to bed and slept for a few hours. She used the anti inflammatory drops as prescribed (every two hours I think it was for the first week) She also used the Blink soothing eye drops for about a month. Use these as much as possible as they really relieve any scratchiness you may feel. Her sight was fantastic even the next day but overall after about a month your eyes will be perfectly normal. So, I can recommend it to you as in our experience everything went really well. Good Luck!!

Last May, I had PRK (it's a combination of Laser surgery and them scraping your eyeball [don't worry, I didn't feel anything]) I thought it was great. It takes about a week to feel completely better. I would definitely do it over and over again. Here is the website of the place I went to. The doctor who does it is a world-renowned doctor.
