Has anyone live in a haunted house?

  • Answer:

We all think our house is haunted. We're all pretty sure it is actually. We've had some pretty messed up things happen around here. Take for instance when my niece was 6 months old, we were both in my bed and we had just woke up. I was playing "patty cake" with her and she jumped like something scared her and turned around to the wall and just stared and then she started smiling and laughing...nothing there...I got a lil creeped out and took her to the living room. Another one: My niece had this toy baby computer thing. And it had this little nob that you turned and it would play the song "to grandmothers house we go" My mother and I were sitting in the living room watching tv when that thing started going off repeatedly. We both looked at eachother like "what the hell" Then we joked that the toy was evil and must die. Then started singing the song. The phone interrupted us. It was my aunt calling telling us to come over next door quick because my grandmother had fallen getting out of the tub and she needed help picking her up. When my mother and I got back from my grandmothers, the toy had stopped and realized the only way to make that toy play the song was to turn the nob. Sometimes I'll be sitting in the living room watching tv when the door to the bathroom door will start swinging slightly back and forth. My mother and I used to be convinced that is was grandfather's spirit. Because of what happened with the toy and my grandma and his pictures are always falling or gettign turned around. So one day I jokingly said "stop it pappaw" and then the door slammed shut However, I now no longer think it's my grandpa. My niece has been talking about a friend she has a named Maggie. Maggie makes soap out of animal fat. And she goes on and on about how she makes soap. Where could she have learned this? We do live near the Willard Library. Which was featured in Ghost hunters on Sci-Fi. Unfortunately they didn't find anything. But they didn't totally discredit the legend of the "gray lady" either hah. http://www.libraryghost.com/ for more info on the Willard.

From birth to age 14 I lived in a Haunted House. It was not a scary thing though. I believe my house now is haunted too. Again, not scary haunted though. My friend actually does investigations and is going to check the paranormal activity of my house for me.

Years ago I lived in a house with one odd room. Whenever I went in and closed the door I would hear a baby crying. The first time it really scared me and I went looking for the source. After about six months I got used to it, and it didn't seem strange anymore.

I grew up in one from ages 8-12. The spirit in residence appeared as an old fellow wearing pajamas and a faded blue bathrobe. I'd only see him for and instant before he'd wink out. He was a very quiet spirit.
