    The cash registers do show you the amount of change to give but if you are bad at math and accidently key in the wrong amount they gave you then you should have a back up. I always carry a pocket calculator just in case I make a mistake.

Oh yeah the register does all the math for you. There may be times that you have to do on paper or in your head but it's not common. Usually when the register messes up or something. But I'm sure you are going to be able to handle it. Good luck on your new job! : )

As long as you know how to count. you'll get along. Cash register will do the work for you. Don't panic. There's also a calculator. just encode the amount one at a time, then press subtotal. enter cash or card, then cash register will compute the change. It's not a shame to ask for help for someone who knows. And besides, if u make a mistakes, your losses will just be deducted fromyour salary.

ok, first of all calm down it gonna be ok but 1st tell your manager if you have to give cash you have to be good with that but everything else the cashier does what store are you apling for? But any ways Good Luck!!
