Almost every job has it as a facet. Even if you're not dealing with "paying" customers, you're dealing with "internal" customers. Many times people are burned out from excessive CS - like from a dishonest or a dysfunctional company, where one is constantly doing "damage control". Try to find a job where the company (or division) truly values it's reputation - not just paying lip service...

The only jobs like that involve you being locked away in a room somewhere without any human interaction. In pretty much any role you’ll find, you always have some sort of customer to serve. They may just be your own co-workers. You really can’t escape working in some kind of customer service.
