How can I grow a mango tree?

I have a mango seed, how do I plant it and make it grow into a tree?

Have a pot fill with earth and then pour water on it till it soak up, then push it down in side the earth and top it up with some more earth and leave alone for two-three weeks with pouring some water on it to keep the earth wet ,then you may see its young leave coming up.
