NJ unemployment extension did not pass?

I am only on Tier 1 of the NJ unemployment extension and that is running out next week. I heard Congress did not pass the the extension as of today. Does this mean that I have to ...show more

I'm in the same situation and trust me i have been looking for work and nothing. I spoke with an unemployment rep today and she said everything is fine to keep claiming. Hopefully she is right. I wish you good luck in your search. Keep looking and i'm sure something will come up.

Nancy Pelosi did sign a temp emergency funds to be paid dating back to June 2. The senators actually get to enjoy a week long vacation for the holidays meanwhile millions of Americans are hungry & on the verge of homelessness. They will vote again until June 12th when congress resumes. I'm sure it will pass then, but be prepared for it not to last past November. I know many people in the same position. Good luck to you.
