Oh yes, it's going to be on your record. And it's going to live there for years, even with the charges dismissed. Legally, however, it can't prevent you from being considered for employment anywhere. But if and when you go to apply for those jobs, they'll ask you if you've ever been convicted of a crime on the application. Just make sure you tell the truth, because if you lie and say no and they see on the background check that there is a charge there, they'll almost certainly be within their rights to reject your application.
