  I read Ed's answer and not sure where he gets his information as far as consultants losing money. I have been a consultant for over a year and haven't lost anything. I have earned money, earned free stuff. As per the prices are too high, most of the products are under $20. The pricier items are of higher quality than what you may find in a department store AND more importantly, PC has a great warranty. They back their products which can't be said about many other companies. It is not hard to find business or people wanting to do shows. Even in this economy, I have business because I am offering a service to people. People aren't eating out as much and need tips/techniques how to make life easier in the kitchen. Success depends on your definition. What do you want or need to earn per month? Set a goal that's right for you and you will achieve it. I home school my son and work less than 20 hours so I needed this business to help supplement my income and it has been great! Now that there is a mini kit available, you can make your initial investment back in your first show.
