How Many Work Hours Per Week?

I am 14 and got a job at a local Giant, i go to school of course, how many hours should I work per week?

• I am busy on mon and fridays so no work then but during all the other week days i can work, how many hours per week should I work during a school year??

  This comes directly from the department of labor: Outside school hours After 7 a.m. and until 7 p.m. Except from June 1 through Labor Day, when you can work until 9 p.m. You can work no more than: * 3 hours on a school day, * 18 hours in a school week, * 8 hours on a non-school day, and * 40 hours in non-school week.
