Which place is better to work at as a CNA? Hospital, nursing home, assistant Living ,or hospice?

It depends on what type of patients that YOU like? In a hospital you'll take care of acutely ill patients, nursing home you'll work with elderly, assisted living patients don't need as intense care as in a nursing home. Hospice means that you'll be working with patients in the terminal ending phase of life.

I'm a PCA (i.e. CNA) and I'd much rather work in a hospital than a nursing home. However, I work in a psychiatric unit and I don't really do a lot of typical 'patient care' as most other assistants do. In ohio I think they might pay a little more in the hospitals ANYWAYS.
