Absolutely! I have a friend who works from home for several doctors and surgeons...and since she has built a good solid reputation and a good client list, she makes upwards of $80,000 a year! She LOVES it. It allows her to be home with her kids, she's her own boss, and she has the freedom to work whatever hours (as much or as little) as she wants. It's an excellent career IF you're willing to do some leg work to get started... once you have a good client base, you'll be set. Best wishes!

yes, you can do it from home. i take classes at career step, which seems to be one of the best schools out there. you can get certified as a medical transcriptionist but you can also work without being certified
