I went to school to be a medical assistant, but I couldn't pass the math so I never got certified. I know I can do the work. But how should I go about trying to get a job as an ...show more

I am taking online classes for Medical and dental assistant and I don't think I have to pass a math exam to get my certificate either. I think that it might be a little difficult to get a job without your certificate. But I would still try if I was you cause you never know. But with the economy slow it might take some time to find a job but just keeplooking cause you will find one. Cause the nursing field will always be in demand no matter what! Good luck!

It's not your age, that would be discrimination. Right now everywhere is hard to find a job. Maybe I would look into an Agency that deal with the Medical field. Good luck to you!
