    British nursing training is specialised and nursing courses leading to registration and degrees in nursing are two separate things. You can train to be an RN is the following specialities: adult child mental health learning disabilities In order to become a registered mental nurse you would have to do the relevant training and exams. Your degree is irrelevant to registration.

They're both the same. Some uni's call it one, some call it the other. You pick your branch when you apply & you will b taught accordingly. It's Nursing BSc where I am. The first year is the common foundation, whatever branch we are we're largely taught together. But for practical placements we are placed according to our branch. As far as I'm aware from the 2nd year we spend less time with the other branches but I'm only a first year at the mo so I may be wrong.
