    There is a common misconception that the current health care bill will be detrimental to those in the medical field. Logic, however, tells us that the opposite is true. Insurance companies, pharm. companies, hospitals, etc. all agree this will be good for the industry because any concessions they have made will be more than made up for by the 30 million new clients they will have access to. That's 30 million medical bills that would've gone unpaid, 30 mil new prescriptions, etc. This bill should at least minimize the write-downs in losses due to medical bankruptcy, thereby lessening the burden on regular policy holders such as myself.

According to many Republicans, as many as a third of all doctors & nurse are going to leave, so I guess (since the number of folks with medical insurance is going to go UP by many tens of millions) that means there will be a LOT of vacancies in the medical field! But returning to planet Earth for a moment, the Bill will increase the patient workload and thus the "back-office" workload, and consequently create many new jobs for medical office workers. Since so many people were convinced Obama's effort would fail, you may face less competition for the position you seek and consequently be able to command a far higher rate of pay than just a few years ago. Timing is everything, it looks like you got yours just right!
