if you have all this education you should try and learn to speak better english. or type it. since you'll need to do so when youre typing up reports and such. Im not saying this to bash your post, but as constructive critisism to say that its something you should work on since its really hard to understand when its broken like this. you dont need a degree to become a police officer. you'd need to go to a police academy and then pass an extensive lie detector test which includes questions such as "have you used any illegal drugs in the last 3 years?" ect. lots of questions similar to that. you have to pass the test in order to become an officer. but with your degree i would probably try and find a better career. police officers dont make that much money. maybe something in a law office or something.

Go to cop school.. Basic English would be a good class to take.

With a military background AND a degree (even an associates - some do prefer a bachelors), almost any department/agency would consider hiring you. As for the money, that depends on where you live. There is usually plenty of opportunity for overtime. Most agencies pay for your police academy on the condition that you work there for a specific amount of time. If you leave before that time is up, you usually have to pay back the balance of your academy cost. Apply wherever you want ! Just make sure its really what you want to do.

well with ur experience i suggest u do something better than being part of the po po. u dont need a college education to be a police man. so u should be a state trooper. those guys are soo cool.

Detail, Detail, Detail,… They want to see that you can spell correctly and pay attention to DETAIL. English is a start. So work on writing your question clearly. You will be working on many reports that require DETAIL and proper English skills. Don’t waste you time in a criminal justice degree.. Get a degree in business or sociology; something other than law to fall back on should you become injured on the job and cannot do the work.
