    Usually people become managers by starting at the bottom and working up. From there, if they want to be managers at other companies, they have to have a few years experience as one.

Extremely unlikely, esp. if you are under the age of 30. MBAs are more of a stumbling block to employment if you don't have experience than a help. You must remember that they are considered "polishing" degrees to qualify you for management or analytical work on the way to the executive suite. if you don't have the experience, you will be unqualified for almost all of the jobs that want MBAs. This is more true in tough economic times and for highly technical fields. (MBA who made it to the executive suite) Your money and time would be better spent getting your CS degree from a better school.
