What does it take to be a pharmacy technician?

What type a question for a CVS pharmacy technician are asked? and do i need to take an exam? Is the exam tough?

I live in NJ and I want to know if the exam is difficult to pass to become a pharmacy tech?

dude dont work for cvs, they suck. i just quit after a year and went to target. but they pretty much ask you bout basic drugs and conversions. nothing hard. if you've been working there atleast a couple months, youre good. and they might ask you stuff like read this prescription, 1 tab PO BID x 10 days. and theyll tell you to translate it. so you would pick, take one tablet by mouth twice a day for 10 days. and yeah stupid basic stuff like that. but i'm serious bout cvs dude. its a crappy company. i'll tell you right now the annual increase is a max of 6%, so thats not guarenteed and for performance evaluations, max increase is 2%. so yeah if your looking for more money after a while, you will have a tough time getting it
