I started a door to door sales company what should i pay my emploees them if they make commition?

People are not going to put gas in there car if they can only make a commision. You have to pay them just to get out there plus they are adverstising you company. I don't know if they can be considered contractors if you do this but find out. I am not going out & having to use my money & end up with nothing. No sales person will know how hard your product is to sell unless they try. You need to get people to stick with a while so give them $5 a hour if you can. They will get out there feeling good & stick with it knowing they are valued.
