    it won't physically make any permanent changes on your body but you risk the chance of having your scab open back up and your bruise hurting a lot. I would recommend icing down the bruise and putting Hydrogen Peroxide on the cute along with daily neosporin and covering it in either gauze or band-aids. If you think you can do it, go for it. I would also recommend if you do decide to do it make sure your coach is informed about the injury so that you may have to stop also bring some aspirins and new band-aids to XC because aspirin will take the edge off the pain and some of the band-aids may fall off! hope this helps! tell us if you decide to run or not!
