i would get a 250. theyre big enough for them and are semi-atuomatic, so theyre easy to learn on. i would suggest a suzuki ltz250 or honda trx250

The real question is: How much riding experience do you have? I would go to a reputable dealer and talk to a salesperson and see what they recommend. I also recommend a riding course. Off-road motorcycles are SOooo easy to get hurt on. Make sure you get proper protective gear too. REAL important!
