How do I make my dirt bike idle longer?

How do i make my 50cc Dirt Bike go faster?

  • Hi Im Just Wondering If You Could Help Me... Does any-body know how i could make my 50cc Dirt Bike go a little faster. My Dirt Bike now goes around 45Mph Thanks for your help.

50cc is pretty small. You don't have much to work with from a horsepower standpoint. There's also a relatively small amount of torque developed. Notwithstanding the above answers, I think the best thing you can do with a 50cc is trade it on something a little larger; 125cc to 175cc dirt bikes will provide you with more top end, and more torque to dig around and through the berms, as well as the power to climb hills better. With a little larger bike, you'll also have better shock systems and front forks with greater travel to take bigger bumps and thumps. That, of course, will allow you to jump higher and further and give you a more comfortable ride. You'll also have additional power to get you out of trouble if needs be. I had a 6 speed 175cc Yamaha enduro that did a good job of moving me around. I'm 6' and when I had that bike, weighed around 200 pounds. Even so, it would still scoot in the dirt as well as on pavement. On the road, I could get it up to 65 - 70 mph, depending on whether I had a head wind or a tail wind! Not too shabby. Good luck.
