PSP won't turn on with battery in?

My psp slim (jigkick battery) screen wont turn on!?

  • When i put the battery in it automatically turns on but the screen wont, is that normal?

    you need to have a magic memory stick (you use this to program custom firmware to the psp and to unbrick it) to use the psp with a jigstick, try taking out the battery and pluging it into the ac adaptor WITHOUT the battery this should fix it now you can put the battery back in WITHOUT turning off the PSP, you can play it, but once it turns off it will not turn on untill you plug it back in (usb connection will not work for tuning it on) this can be fixed by having a magic memory stick in the PSP when turning it on that way you don't need to plug it into the adapter every time if you need the magic memory stick maker just tell me and ill give you the program all you need is a memory stick with the PRO DUO sign on it no others will work use this email <[email protected]>

i remeber reading somewhere that there was an issue where the screen doesnt show anything with the pandora(jigkick) battery. try pressing buttons, like the display button. also, make sure that the files on the magic memory stick are correct. i use Cat B 50's team of files. google it. good luck
