no it will not they dont have the same hook ups at all ever i own both systems and have tired this when my cat got a hold of my controller in bit into the wires in tired the ps3 controller in it did not work HE IS ASKING ABOUT THE CONTROLLER NOT THE GAME had to spend another $24.99 on another controller for the ps2

It should. I have both games and I received guitar hero 2 first and the controller worked fine on number 3. So I dont see why it wouldnt work.
