PSP Memory stick not showing the games?

I have psp 3.03 i gig memcard how do i play downloaded games like grand theft auto from the memory stick?

  • i got a new psp for xmas with 1 gig memory stick i have downloaded some games from a torrent site for the psp how do i get them to work with 3.03 psp

  • Answer:

The games won't work on 3.03. I made the same mistake by upgrading to 3.03 only to find out that you need an older version like 1.5 and then an upgrade to 3.03oe made by a the psp hacker named Dark_Alex. Check out this site www.i-hacked.com Unfortunately you cannot downgrade from 3.03 so try to either take yours back to the shop or swap it for one that belongs to someone you don't like.

You cant. The games that you can download from file sharing sites (presuming they are not full of viruses) are only for users of "homebrew" software. You can only run homebrew on version 1.5 or lower and you cannot currently downgrade from v3.03 and there is no burner available for the psp umd discs. You will have to buy the games. The only games you can download and play are the demos (mostly from sony). You may be able to get the games cheaper on ebay, but be careful buying movies as they are region locked.

You can't play games loaded onto the memory stick, that is only for save games(where you save your progess in a game you own) and other media you want to save. You might be able to download a game and burn it to a mini-dvd and put it into the umd and play that, but I doubt it.
