    Metal Brad, tell your friend they don't send you boxes any more. They haven't in a long time. They send you a shipping lable and you provide your own box. Usually it takes 2-3 weeks is the general concensus you hear from most people. I don't know if the holidays will delay that though.

I hear it takes quite some time. Months even for some people. My friends X-Box got the rings a few months ago and he hasn't even gotten the damn box yet to send it in even though they said they apparently sent it like 10 times. So yea.. Good luck

sending t t microsoft takes to long if you have a local store that repairs the ring of death you can get it back same day and they usually give you a 1 year warranty also.

I live in the same area. It took about 6 weeks. But it just broke again right after the warranty expired. So save up for another Xbox or a plane ticket to Seattle so you can kick Bill Gates in his non-existent ball sack.
