Is there a way to include MySQL source code to import in Eclipse?
-
Hi i am digging into MySQL from past 2 days. I have downloaded the source code and was looking into it. but it is difficult to look into it without an IDE. i want to import the download source as eclipse project i tried it but it is giving lot of errors. it is confused at many places example 'Table'. It says in eclipse it is ambiguous. is there a straight forward way to import this in eclipse without errors.

There's a series of blog posts about this, posted in 2014. Start here: https://mariadb.com/blog/compiling-debugging-mariadband-mysql-eclipse-scratch-part-1-setup-building-environment I'm not an Eclipse user, so I can't answer any further questions. Good luck!
