How do i convince my parents to let me get a hamster?

1) find out how and where to get all the supplies for the hamster, including the hamster 2) do some research on how to take care of a hamster 3) present the info to ur parents, showing and explaining to them that the hamster is going to be YOUR responsibility not THEIRS. if possible, offer to chip in for the supplies/hamster. 4) if they say no, ask them nicely why, u may be able to fix it good luck and hope this helps.

First make sure you are up to the challenge of taking care of it then, Do some research and find out exactly what you need, and last: prove to your parents that you are responsible, do things around the house, etc. and also try to explain that you would like a pet that you will take care of and want a living thing. I hope they understand.

tell them that you will do whatever it takes to get one. wake up early and clean up the house and leave a sweet little note to them after you done. tell them that you want it more than anything else and that you will take real good care of it. hamsters do not cost much at all for the bet its like 15 to 20$ tell them that you will ever try to make the money for them. just be really nice to them and it should work. works for me :)

Prove to them that your responsible enough to get one, like get good grades (like A's), do things that they would like you to do without being asked, be nice to them, have family bonding time, offer to cook dinner, do things nice for them. Tell them that you'd take care of them, clean the hamsters cage, you'd feed it, you'd play with it all the time. And once you get the hamster don't stop doing nice things for them, then they'll get mad and they won't think your responsible.

I went through the same thing. Here are some tips that helped me get my first hamster :D ~Make a list of all the things you will need to buy, and the price.(make sure you pick the cheaper options) include food, cage the hamster, wood chips drinking& water bowls. ~If any of your friends have hamsters, take one into your home and keep him for a few days &take care of him. prove to your parents your responsible. ~if you know someone with a hamster get them to talk to your parents ~Print out articles/facts on the certain breed that you want to show that you know things about them. ~don't wine or be immature if they say no. simply try again. ~if you get really desperate, try crying (optional) hope i helped
