What will happen when the ice caps melt?

What will you do/ and what will happen when the ice caps melt on the poles from global warming?

  Well, Either the sea levels will rise as much as 300 feet and more than half the land currently settled on by humankind will be underwater, thus causing massive floods, tidal damage and the like, Or the water will evaporate quickly enough to actually saturate the air in the atmosphere with water vapor, which would make it 100% humidity all the time and basically cause most of the plantlife to virtually drown as well as raise the average temperature on Earth as much as ten degrees Fahrenheit, Now ten degrees might not sound like much but if you get a fever and your body temp hits 108 degrees you are in a fairly serious amount of trouble, Also we are at risk of causing 35+ species of animals to go extinct with our greenhouse gases that are clogging the atmosphere, because the ice caps melting would take away the habitats of these animals (polar bears, emporer penguins, greenland sharks, etc), and what they eat (krill, sea lions, blue penguins, etc), Besides which if the ice caps melt and our temperatures raise many people lose virtually all the fresh water they have. I've lived out in the Midwest and there they get most of their water from snowpack, and melting snow. Higher temperatures mean less snow, and thats already happening, forget twenty years in the future Even so that water is being used to grow 80% of the fresh fruit grown in the U.S. And that hits fair close to home. So, maybe fifty years from now, Maybe twenty, Or maybe five, The change is coming and we best be working on slowing down our pollution and increasing our enviromental awareness. Because it will effect every man, every woman, and every child in ways you can't even begin to comprehend.
