How do I delete a Hotmail email and messenger account?

    The easiest way it to forget about it. If you do not sign in for 210 days it will be deleted.

on the bottom of your hot maill profile there is what is called a remove account button press it and it takes up to 2 days before it is totally removed other than your messenger go to your settings and go to add and remove look for your msn messenger and right click on it and when u do that it should ask you to add or remove hit yes or ok and it will remove your messenger

as long as I know you cant but just sign out then forget it and if you like make a new one

You can't delete a Hotmail account, so, just stop using it. Which IM??? Windows, MSN, Live? It does make a difference. In Messenger, open Tools and turn off "Start up with Windows" or similar. It's all explained in the Help (Tab) files.
