How do i get my webcam towork on the new msn?

i downloaded the newest msn , it lets me do video calls but wen i click on the little icon the show webcam one is in grey and people cant see my webcam, what do i do to make it work?

i do not like the new version of msn with webcams. I use my webcam everyday ..so when i upgraded to 2009 version..it was horrible. I uninstalled and went back to the 2008 version. Camera is perfect. So uninstall new 2009 version and go back to 2008 version.
