Just install firefox on all pcs you use, i my self have no idea why internet explorer 7 or any other IE runs that way. Its a lot better to just install firefox than work on IE, IE is slow and has a lot of security issues. better to be safe than sorry.

firefox is far superior to internet explorer
hi
It just sucks. So many security issues and it tries to be greater than it actually is. I recommend Using Google Chrome. Its fast and fun to use.

If you want a simple answer: I think it has to do with the amount of things put into each browser. IE is set up to function with minimal updates, so there is more stuff 'inside' of it. FF is set up to function however the user wants. It has less 'stuff' in it than IE because some people don't want a bunch of useless crap in their browser. You'll notice a decline in FF speed as you add on to it. It's all a matter of how many things are running in the browser background. As for not being able to install...you haven't provided us with any info. What operating system are your work computers are running? FF is fairly flexible when it comes to functionality. Otherwise, you may want to check into the below website for more detailed info. Or, you can try older versions of FF to see if they will install.

You may want to consider upgrading to the latest Internet Explorer version - IE8. It is safer and more reliable. Upgrading may help solve your slow loading issue as well.
