Google or Yahoo and why?

Which one do you think iis better, Yahoo or Google? Why?

  • I don't understand why people say that Google is better, aren't they the same thing? I'm talking about searching-wise.

    Google keeps all of the users searches private. It's the only search engine to do so, yahoo, msn etc have all bent to court orders. Personally, I like google's search engine better, but the yahoo features, such as answers, and the mailbox.

I have always used Yahoo, I try Google but am used to/like Yahoo's search results better.

Google for Search Yahoo for email and other services like answers etc. Its a good idea to keep your email provider seperate to where you do your internet searches. Because you know tha they keep track of all your searches and if the have your email also then you can be targeted.

you can check it through alexa.com it compare there very well. it check it from how many user surf in there. yahoo and google is go up and go down.

I love Google, but I am very loyal to Yahoo!. Google is like my best friend's dog. Awesome and cool, but that dog couldn't replace my dog (Yahoo!)

Search wise google is better, because of their patented page-ranking algorithm which is unique and shows the most relevant result. Yahoo search is also good but is behind google by a narrow margin. In terms of other services yahoo is definitely better than google because of various other service they provide, like briefcase, photos etc etc.
