Does anyone know how to delete an aol email account from the computer?

  • I had a problem and would like to have this taken off my computer? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    When you start typing your email and have the aol email pop up, just hit delete from the keyboard. That should work. If you want to uninstall the aol software, Go to the Control Panel, select ad/remove and delete it form there.

click start /control panel /add/remove programs look in the list for anything to do with AOL click on then 1 at a time and click on the remove tab then AOL is no more on your computer

just remove AOL... in the standard way... start, control panel, add-remove programs. You can't remove the email account from the SERVER that way.
