  You might be able to impact your parents' desire by taking them to a Heart Gallery. It's set up like an art gallery with portraits of kids looking for forever families along with some biographical information on the kids. It's an awesome way to put a face to a statistic...it's easy to say that x number of kids are in foster care awaiting adoption...it's another thing to look into the eyes of one of those kids. You won't be able to "convince" your parents because it needs to be their decision if it's going to happen. I do, however, know of several families who adopted because their kids prayed them into it and helped nudge their folks along (Steven Curtis Chapman is the famous story of this!
