Should i get my new snowboard waxed?

i just bought a brand new burton snowboard and i want to know if i should get it hot waxed before i use it

I like the way stock wax rides. Personally I hold out as long as I can before waxing my new boards. But thats just me. Kinda like the new car smell thing. Yeah. You can clean it after a while but it'll never smell the same.
