What are some good snowboard brands to buy from?

    Ride, never summer, burton, GNU, rome. My personal favorite is burton. As for K2s.. I wouldn't say they're awful boards, I just think some of the brands out there are better.

K2 is less known, and is of a beginner-ish quality. Burton is known for their extremely well designs and quality. I believe Shawn White also uses them.

i have a rome and im completely satisfied with it. but that´s just me. it also helps if you get on the mountain on a demo day and you can try different brands out and then make a decision
