  Get something bigger than 145, especially if you're still growing. 148 is solid for an all mountain board so you can ride on powder days without putting out strenuous amounts of effort to keep the nose above the snow. Also, make sure your boot size is actually 9.5. Snowboard boot sizing tends to run smaller than regular shoe size. You want your boots to be very snug, but not uncomfortable. Take into consideration that they pack out a little bit as well. TRY THEM ON in-store, your toes should touch the front of the boot when you stand up straight, then try bending your knees in an athletic stance so your knees are in line with your toes, at this point your toes should still slightly graze the front of the boot on the inside. Fitting your boots is the most important component of sizing all of your gear.
