    Make sure the board is up to your chin or a little lower. You should buy a Burton. I love mine and it is very good. This one guy showed me it and so he like bent it and then he let it go and nothing happened to it. Thats how good a Burton is. If you wanna go into the mountains, then buy a Burton. If you wanna buy the right board, then go to a boarding store. I bought mine at my skiing place in the fall. Also, if you go to a store and find the board you want, make sure it your comfortable in it. The board that you want (lib tech mangetraction factory board) is meant for snowboarding. I'm pretty sure that it can go in the mountains because snowboards are meant for that. If you want more info on it, call the factory and ask them specifically what it is meant for.
