Union Force Bindings Vs Other Bindgs?

  • So I'm getting a 152cm Ride Agenda Snowboard and I need some advice on getting bindings. A lot of people say Union Force are the best, but I'm looking for more feedback, can ...show more

  • Answer:

That's based on opinion, not fact. All bindings have pros and cons. The Union Force has a few cons like terrible ratchets and the least compatible toe strap in the industry. I personally think they're overrated. I mean they're not bad and they'll be good for that style of riding. I'm just pointing out what others may have missed. There are a bunch of bindings that could fit the criteria for an all-mountain/freestyle riding style. I guess it comes down to what you prefer. You could get slightly softer bindings like Rome 390's, Raiden Zero's, Burton Malavitas, Flux DS30's, RIde Rodeo. Or you could get slightly stiffer bindings like Burton Cartels, Raiden Phantoms, Union Contact Pro, Flux TT30, Ride Maestro. K2 Uprise. There are seriously a ton of options out there. Get the Force if you want. they're a very versatile binding. Boots are more of a fit and preference kind of deal. Try a bunch on and take home whatever fits the best.
