Where to get Jackson Glacier figure skates?

Are Jackson Glacier 350, good for first figure skates?

  • Answers would be appreciated! I'm just wanna know cus I think their the ones I want for my first skates but are they good ones I'm on level 2-3, thanks in advance :)

  • Answer:

No, they're not good for a 13-year old skater who is past level 1. They don't have ankle support - you can bend the sides at the ankle all the way over. The blades have little to no rocker and the toepicks are too small for even basic jumps. Spins, turns, edges and jumps will be a struggle with these skates and you'll need to get a higher-level boot within a month or two. You need something like the Jackson Artiste or Classique that can provide good support and blade control.

Glaciers are recreational skates, good only for people skating in circles and hardly better than rental skates. Sorry, you're going to have to spend a bit of money.
