What to wear for USFSA test?

  • My daughter will be taking her first official USFSA test. She will be testing pre-pre mif. I have heard a simple dress is best. What color would you wear?

  • Answer:

    Try getting a plain dress (with minimal crystals) that compliments her. If she is young and average height or small for her age bright colors are best. If she is older and tall, especially if she is strong and has muscle in her arms, dark colors and reds will look best on her. Avoid getting white dresses because it is best to stand out on the ice.

really any color. and thats right...dont go overboard. I wore a black dress with a decal on it and the judges commented on it. I also have mine custom made. you could also just wear maybe even a nice skirt with a nice sweater as well.

Apart from "not white" (it doesn't show up well against the ice) I don't think it matters. What colour does she want to wear?
