What figure skating competitions do you know?

Figure Skating Question?!?

• I am 12, and i have always loved figure skating. I am about to start. I know i cannot go to Olympics, but can i at least do competitions and get very good at it?

  Absolutely! You are right, you will probably not get to the olympics or other major competitions but you can still compete and progress in the sport. People of all ages and levels can compete! As for getting good at it, that all depends on your natural talent. It is definitely possible, but you just have to put in a lot of effort and skate 5 or 6 times a week if you really care about it. I know people who have been skating for like 6 years and they are only working on double toe or double loop. But then I also know someone who has only been skating for a little more than a year and she is already working on her double lutz! So it all just depends on your natural skill and level of determination. But it is definitely possible! good luck!
