What family member would you DEFINITELY name a child after?

I would name my child after my mother who passed away when I was 4, and my aunt who I am very close with I would only use them as middle names though. I will more then likely use my moms name Janice as a middle name but will probably opt out to using Valerie my aunts name.

My maternal grandfather: Charles My paternal grandfather: Joseph My paternal grandmother: Brenda (I wouldn't use Brenda, I'd use a B name) and Louise (her middle name) My mom: Catherine, but I'd use Katarina I'd want to use my dad's name (Greg), but I don't like that name haha.

Names I would definitely consider using: Valerie - my grandmothers name. Catherine - my grandmothers middle name. Rosalie - my great, great, great aunts middle name (I know it sounds very distant, but we were close to her as kids). Alexander - great grandfather. Mitchell - brother. Names that I would never use: Bertha - my great, great, great aunts first name. Mavis - my grandmothers other middle name. Linda - my nan, and my mother-in-law. ~ A ~

I named my son after my father ( Malcolm) But I would never name a daughter Heather (My grandmother) because l was bullied by a Heather at high school so that name has bittersweet memories for me.

Vasilisa- My great great grandmother's middle name Elizaveta- My great great grandmother's name Maria- My middle name Emerson- My grandfather's name Emmett- My great grandfather's name Joy- A middle name throughout my family Lucas- My grandfather's middle name, I would spell it Lukas. Charlotte- My grandmother's middle name. Names I wouldn't use- Mozella- My mother's name, maybe I would use Ella or Zella, both me and my mom dislike the "mo" part. I'm only in contact with my mother's side so I'm not sure of my other family member's names. Good luck :)

I am naming my firstborn daughter after my mother/grandmother/sister. Her name will be Eloise Tatiana May. Tatiana honors my mother, grandmother, and myself, by incorporating Ann, and it honors my sister Tanya as well. I would also use : Virginia - Great-grandmother William - Papaw ♥ Arthur - Uncle/great-grandfather I would not use Sandra, Barbara, or Betty.

My grandma Joann, though I would change it to Joanna. My brother Sean. My aunt Laura. My great grandma Ruth. My grandpa Harold. I'd never name my children after my mom (Simone), my dad (Stephen), my paternal grandma (Geraldine), or my cousin (Erin). Though I would use their middle names Louise, Bradley and Marie. I wouldn't use Erin's middle name (Nicole), but I would use the masculine version of her first name (Aaron) for a son.
