    You go to a chiropractor. They can analyze your spine and get to the root of the problem. I could just be some ligament sprain OR a muscular problem. you may have pulled/strained muscles in your upper back. you need to get a couple massages (unless you want to go to your doctor to get physical therapy) and stretch out really well...you should also check out the pillows that you're sleeping on. there are different pillows for different kinds of sleepers...so if you sleep on your back or side and have a really soft pillow you aren't getting enough support. good luck!
