  You can look for groups at; Local library- for book clubs or even art clubs Community Centers- such as the Boys and Girls club or YMCA Church groups- often offer youth groups if not homeschool co-ops or charter schools. Girl or Boy Scouts- by joining you also open yourself to opportunistic for later in life. Check your local colleges- They sometimes offer classes for different age groups where you can meet new people and make new friends.
