I am looking to finish my 8th grade year by homeschooling. I live in North Carolina.?

you can find a program that fits your learning style and order the books online. i teach my son at home. i get the Life Pack books and they are easy to understand for the students. you can order the whole year for about $250. you can stay doing it until you are done with school if you wanted too. the only hitch is you have to order you own eog's and take them and send them off to be graded and pay for all of that. other than that it is not hard to do in nc. now while you are doing all of this your parents have to print off and send in a form to the nc non public school / homeschool to get a card back and then once they get that they have to go to the school you were in and withdraw you from there. by that time you should have your books and can start on your work from there. I live in nc too and am only about 65 miles from raleigh. homeschooling is fun don't make it harder that it is and do pull your hair out when you get your books. you have to understand every program is going to be a little different from what you were learning in public school. good luck!!!

Well since you have to get homeschooled all you have to do is go to the school board buliding with you mom and tell them that you need singed out.I wouldnt go with cyberschool i was in it before and didnt like it but it might be rite for you and the bookschooling is good and fun you get to sleep in!!!
