What is the difference between the strategy used by Google and Apple to update their Nexus and iOS devices?
-
All iOS devices seem to get the update almost at the same time while Google takes weeks to roll out updates for its Nexus devices.
-
Answer:
It is because of the different hardware configuration of the devices .Google takes time to optimise the code for each device.IOS updates may come for all its devices on the same time but the operating system is not necessarily optimised ,it may have "lag" on some of the devices, for example iOS 7 lags on the IPhone 4s and the Ipad 3 .Taking time to release an update is a good thing.
