I want to check the status of reservation for the ticket already booked for some one in Indian railway web to confirm its availability. Journey is on 10th November.

Hi, Its simple...... If you have PNR No. than you can check it by : www.indianrail.gov.in - > Passenger/PNR status. Using IRCTC.co.in , you have log on first, Go to Booking History -> Booked Ticket -> choose Transaction -> click on Get PNR status ---> done..

If you have booked from internet then you can check from PNR status in the www.irctc.co.in web site after logging in. Another way is to Dail 139 from landline telephone and follow the steps for PNR enquiry, or Dail Area code+139 from mobile phone.
