You do not need to except it until you check that person's page. Just click on their photo or their name and this will take you to their 360 page

All Yahoo 360 invitations go to your 360 mailbox. What you receive in Yahoo! Mail is an alert that tells you that you have received an invite. Now, you can take action within that e-mail OR you can go to your 360 space and take action in the 360 mailbox. No matter where you go, the person's 360 nickname is shown ON the invite. It is a link. If you click on it, it will take you to their 360 space (no need to accept the invitation). For instance, the box on the left side of the invitation will say The person's nickname (which is what you should click on) Gender How many friends they have The latest update they made to their account Now, if the person deleted their Yahoo account, then maybe a nickname is no longer displayed. I don't know. I have yet to receive an invitation with nothing to click on - whether in my Yahoo! Mail or Y!360 Mailbox. Personally, if you don't see anything to click on and can't find the person via the Yahoo! 360 Search page, then I suggest ignoring it until they try contacting you again.
