What does aggressive co-marketing mean?

  • A company recently approached my company to for a product demo so we could "engage in aggressive co-marketing." does this mean the might buy us?

    It could also mean they want to / are building a copy of your product :)

They see synergies between your product and theirs.  They think both of your products could work together to solve a bigger problem.  They want to know, so that when their next prospect says "hmm, you cover area A well - but what about related problem B?" Then they can look ingenious by saying "OMG, we have vendor X who works perfectly with our Solution and covers Problem B - we'll bring them in" At that point - cue mad running around in sales/product - and attempts to create a "Partner Demo" showing the two products "working together". Or, Anonymous got it right and they want to copy or acquire you.  Unlikely.
